About Value Distribution UK

Value Disribution UK was started in May 1994 as Easy Upgrades. We primarily supplied components and upgrades to end users and business's. We rapidly expanded into complete systems which we either built ourselves or supply branded PC's as requested. As IT implementation has expanded we have continued to grow and business systems / networking / email / internet access. As the computer business grew it became clear you cannot sell PC's, do quality support and compete with mail order type operations who don't do support. We changed our name to Value Distribution UK and use our technical skills to develop our business internally.

The Valuemedia, Valueflash, Valueimaging, Valuevolts and ValueNETWORKING websites are done totally in house and hosted on our dedicated co-located Webserver.

Our policy has always been "we sell and support the products that we like", we spend a lot of time evaluating new products, separating hype from fact. Products / components are selected for their price, performance, reliability and compatibility. The IT market is largely driven by price, sometimes the cheapest product is perfectly OK and sometimes the cheapest way to do it is do it right the first time. We spend a considerable time testing and evaluating the products we sell, eg Compact flash, we have tested just all the CF on the site for speed on a true comparitive basis. If we tell you it performs better, it isn't because of sales hype its because we have tested and verified it.

Our strengths remain an indepth knowledge / experience of computer hardware, IT infrastructure, systems and operating systems, covering MS Windows 95/98/ME, Windows NT 4 Workstation, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4 Server, Small Business Server and Backoffice Server. We have a good knowledge of Linux and Netware, call or email us.
